Southern Sweet Citrus Mint Tea
Ingredients:
1 Family size tea bag (Luzianne Brand)
1 Perfectly Mint tea bag (Bigelow Brand)
1 Orange & Spice tea bag (Bigelow Brand)
9 cups water, divided
1 cup sugar (or more to taste)
Mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Orange slices for garnish (optional)
Directions:
In a small saucepan add all three tea bags with 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then allow to steep for 10 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags. Pour steeped tea into a pitcher and add the remaining 5 cups of water. Stir in the sugar while tea is still warm (this allows the sugar to dissolve easier). Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves and orange slices.
Note:
If you prefer your tea sweeter add additional sugar to taste.
