When the Lord tells us to arise, He wants us to get up from the lowly position the enemy has placed us, which is causing us to be depressed and lose hope. To shake off lies we have believed. He wants to take you by the hand and help you to rise up from the ashes. Allow God to arise in your thoughts. Make Him bigger than your problems, focus on His greatness. The bigger you make God, the smaller your problems become, and the more faith will rise in your heart. The easiest way to do that is to keep a song of praise in your heart all through the day, instead of worrying and thinking about all the things that are wrong. Allow the King of the universe to go to work on your behalf.
Then we are to shine to reflect His Glory to the world around us, because we have been changed by His Glory. As we radiate light of Christ – and it brings forth life.
